Fri., Jan. 10--Deadline to apply for city council vacancy in New Concord. With Jennifer Lyle now transitioning to her mayoral duties, her council seat is vacated. Anyone interested in filling the remainder of this term, ending on Dec. 31, 2021, should submit a letter of interest to Charlotte Colley, village administrator, and deliver it to Village Hall or submit electronically at This email address is being protected from spambots. The letter should include information about the applicant, reasons why they would like to serve on Village Council, valid contact information and any other information thought to be helpful in the selection process.
