Beth Pearthree Albertson, Ed Albertson's wife, passed away on Mar. 14 of cancer.  Ed ran for the US House of Representatives in the Ohio 12th District this past fall.  Despite being ill, she still gamely participated in the Women's March in Washington, DC this past January.  She was an inspiration to all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.  Memorial service Saturday, March 25, at 11:00 am at the United Church of Granville, Granville, OH.

Anti-Gerrymandering Petition

Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM - We will have a petition for the Bipartisan Congressional Redistricting Reform Amendment (Gerrymandering) at the headquarters (46 S Sixth St). We need approximately 400 additional Muskingum County signatures to reach our goal.

We are very sorry to announce the death of TED ZAKANY, 90, who died Wed., Oct. 4.  He had been active in the Democratic Party for many years.  He served on Zanesville City council for over 30 years, and was on the Democratic Central Committee.  He contributed so much to the community, and will be missed.  To see his obituary, CLICK HERE.
