Mon., Mar. 30, 7 pm - Women's Democratic Club make-up meeting, at Gant House, 1845 W. Main St., Zanesville.  On the agenda:  Zanesville city candidate endorsements, and the Heartbeat Bill passed in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Wed., Apr. 1, 4:30 pm - Sen. Sherrod Brown to host a meeting at Democratic Headquarters, 46 S. 6th St., Zanesville, to talk about what is going in Washington, DC.  This is not a fund raiser or press conference.

Wed., Apr. 15, 6 pm, Muskingum County Democrats meeting, at Democratic Headquarters, 46 S. 6th St., Zanesville.  Soup and sandwich dinner will be available for $15.

Thur., Apr. 23 and Fri., Apr. 24 - Carr Center Cake Auction at Colony Square Mall, Zanesville.  Our club had a cake,
and Nancy Harvey donated a Kitchen Aid stand mixer as an incentive ($450 value). Lori Nichols baked and decorated our cake.  Our Cake was auctioned Friday, April 24, at 3:00 pm.  It sold for $245 to Mohr Plumbing.

Fri., Apr. 24, and Sat., Apr. 25 - Annual Federated Democratic Women of Ohio Spring Convention hosted by Carroll and Harrison County Democratic Ladies, at Days Inn, 1111 Canton Road NW, Carrolton, OH.  This year's theme is "Women on the Move."  Reservations can be made by calling 330-627-9314.

Park, Democratic Party fund raiser, $20/person, and bring a covered dish for the potluck.  Speakers will be David Leland (State Representative and former chair of the Ohio Democratic Party), and local candidates.  Dale Phillips is donating the meat.  There will be a raffle and a 50/50 drawing.

RTW is a dangerous attack on working and middle-class families  These anti-worker policies lower wages, slash benefits, make workers less safe on the job, and devastate communities.  Workplace fatalities are 36% higher in RTW states.  Median household incomes are $535/month less in RTW states.
