Sat., April 27, 2:00 pm - Ed FitzGerald, Candidate for Ohio Governor, will have a news conference at Democratic Headquarters, 46 S. 6th St., Zanesville.  He got a law degree from OSU, worked as a staff assistant for US Congressman Edward Feighan, was a special agent for the FBI investigating corruption in Cicero, IL, joined the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office, served first as a councilman for Lakewood, OH and then its mayor.  He became the first County Executive of Cuyahoga County after voters authorized a new form of county government in an attempt to reform corruption.
